Bishop, Dr. Alvin C. Motley & Lady Maxine Louise Motley

 

Bishop Dr. Alvin Motley has served as pastor of The Way Thru Christ since 1989. He has been married to Maxine, for 36 years. He is the father of two children and grandfather of seven. He is known within and outside the community for the love he has for God's people. He is a former Marine, a mentor, street evangelist, teacher and counselor known for helping individuals with recovery, obtaining employment & housing throughout the years. Bishop, Dr. Alvin Motley has earned a Doctor of Divinity degree and gives all honor and glory to God!

 

Bishop Al has also served as school board member of The Christian Academy in Brookhaven Pennsylvania, an Admissions  Administrator at Williamson College of the Trades in Media, Pa. and he currently serves on the Bishop Board of the Lancaster Mennonite Conference overseeing seven churches throughout the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware area.

 

Bishop Al is humbled by the keeping power, mercy and love of God poured out in his life. He continues to walk by faith and not by sight knowing he who has begun a good work will also complete it.

 

Lady Maxine Louise Motley loves God, her family, and serving others. She has earned her BA in Psychology as well as her Masters in Educational Psychology. Maxine has served as a social worker, professor, elementary school teacher, Christian counselor and is currently Director of the ‘Daughters of Royalty’ Ministry at The Way Thru Christ. She is a well known workshop, conference and motivational speaker and a published author. Maxine is grateful to God for her family and for the love and mercy God has extended to both her and her loved ones.
